What's on at the Esports World Cup 2026 Week 3?

From football's biggest EA SPORTS FC stars to battle royale specialists, autobattler experts and elite mobile esports teams, another wave of champions will be crowned at the world's biggest gaming festival.

Here's everything taking place during Week 3 of EWC 26.

FC Pro World Championship at EWC 26

One of the week's biggest attractions is the FC Pro World Championship, where the world's best EA SPORTS FC players compete for the newly renamed Diogo Jota FC Pro World Championship Trophy.

Renamed with the blessing of Jota's family in honour of the late Liverpool and Portugal forward's lifelong passion for EA SPORTS FC and esports, the trophy will be lifted for the first time at the Esports World Cup.

The tournament begins with the League Stage from July 22-24. Thirty-six players will each play six matches against six different opponents, with wins worth three points and draws worth one. The top 24 progress to the knockout phase, while the top eight receive a bye directly into the Round of 16.

Players ranked ninth to 24th will battle through the play-ins before the single-elimination playoffs on July 25-26 determine the champion.

The Finals weekend also features a special appearance from football legend Karim Benzema, who will take part in a one-off showmatch before the world's best FC competitors take to the stage.

Alongside Benzema's appearance, this year's tournament carries added significance as the first champion will be crowned with the Diogo Jota FC Pro World Championship Trophy, creating a fitting tribute to one of football's most passionate gamers.

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS at EWC 26

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS returns to the Esports World Cup with 24 teams chasing one of the most prestigious trophies in battle royale esports.

The competition opens with a Group Stage from July 21-23, where the teams are divided into three groups and compete in a round-robin across 18 matches.

The top 16 teams qualify for the Grand Finals, while the remaining eight are eliminated.

The Grand Finals run from July 24-26, with the finalists competing across up to 18 matches before the champion is crowned using the Smash Rule format.

Teamfight Tactics at EWC 26

Teamfight Tactics brings together 16 of the world's leading teams for another tactical showdown.

Competition begins with the Group Stage from July 21-23, featuring two double-elimination (GSL) groups. Every group stage series is best-of-three, with the top four teams from each group advancing.

The Playoffs follow on July 24-25, where an eight-team single-elimination bracket decides the champion. All matches are best-of-three apart from the best-of-five Grand Final.

MLBB Mid Season Cup at EWC 26

Following the conclusion of the Wildcard Stage, the MLBB Mid Season Cup enters its Group Stage.

From July 22-26, the remaining 16 teams compete across two double-elimination groups, with every series played as a best-of-three.

The top four teams from each group progress to the Knockout Stage in Week 4, while the remaining eight teams see their Esports World Cup campaigns come to an end.

Street Fighter 6 Last Chance Qualifier

The Street Fighter 6 Last Chance Qualifier offers one final opportunity to reach the Esports World Cup main event.

Beginning on July 24, hundreds of players will enter the open bracket hoping to earn one of just six remaining places in next week's Street Fighter 6 tournament.

Only the strongest competitors will survive several days of intense competition to join the world's best fighting game players in Week 4.
