The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women's International 2026 brings together the world's best women's teams at the Esports World Cup in Paris, where 16 squads will compete to become the first official world champions in the game's history.
Formerly known as the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women's Invitational, the tournament has been rebranded as the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women's International, marking a new era for the women's competitive scene. Alongside the prestigious title, the champions will earn 1,000 Esports World Cup Club Championship points and the largest prize pool ever offered in a women's Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament.
What is the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women's International?
The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women's International is the official world championship for women's Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports.
After several successful editions as the Women's Invitational, tournament organiser MOONTON Games has elevated the event into the pinnacle of the women's competitive calendar. The 2026 edition is the first to award an undisputed world title, making it one of the biggest milestones in the history of the esport.
Held as part of the Esports World Cup in Paris, the competition features representatives from every major Mobile Legends: Bang Bang region.
Which teams are competing?
Sixteen teams qualified through regional competitions to earn their place at the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women's International.
Among the favourites are defending champions Team Vitality, who return after one of the most dominant performances in tournament history. The French organisation won the 2025 Women's Invitational without dropping a single game, completing a flawless campaign with a 4-0 victory over Gaimin Gladiators in the Grand Final.
Led by sisters Michelle "Chell" Siswanto and Cindy "Cinny" Siswanto, Team Vitality will once again be expected to challenge for the title, this time in front of a home crowd.
They are joined by a strong international field that includes Falcons Vega, Natus Vincere, Team Liquid, Virtus.pro, Twisted Minds, ONIC Pertiwi, Gaimin Gladiators, and several regional champions looking to claim the first official world championship.
What is the format?
The tournament begins with a double-elimination group stage, giving every team a second chance after an opening defeat.
The leading teams from each group advance to the single-elimination knockout stage, where every match becomes win-or-go-home. One defeat is enough to end a team's tournament, ensuring the pressure builds as the championship reaches its conclusion.
Why does the tournament matter?
Beyond crowning the first official women's world champions, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women's International also plays a significant role in the Esports World Cup Club Championship.
The winning organisation earns 1,000 Club Championship points, while victory also satisfies the requirement that clubs must win at least one tournament to become eligible for the overall Club Championship title.
For organisations such as Team Vitality, Falcons and Team Liquid, success in Paris could prove crucial in the race for the Esports World Cup's biggest prize.
