A pair of Chelsea players who missed out on their 1-0 loss to Arsenal on Tuesday are set to be assessed ahead of the club's next match.
Reece James and Pedro Neto were both absent from the Blues' midweek defeat, which came in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-finals and saw Arsenal advance to next month's final. Both James and Neto appeared in Chelsea's prior match, a 3-2 Premier League victory over West Ham on Jan. 31, and manager Liam Rosenior said it's still too early to know whether they would be ready for the Blues' visit to Molineux Stadium to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
"We don’t know yet," Rosenior said on Thursday regarding James' and Neto's status. "We had training today, which was a recovery day for the lads who played in a really tough, physical game on Tuesday.
"We will check them tomorrow and make a decision then."

In the same update, Rosenior also revealed that Jamie Gittens is set for a longer spell on the sidelines due to a muscle tear.
"Jamie is looking a little bit more long-term," he said. "It's a real shame for him; he's got a tear in his hamstring.
"That’s a real shame for him as, obviously, I’ve not worked with him for too long, but I know about his career and what an outstanding player he is. So that’s going to be a big miss for us."
In more positive news, Rosenior stated that Estevao and Cole Palmer are "both fit to play 90 minutes" after featuring as substitutes in Tuesday's loss. Both players had missed games in recent weeks for various reasons, but they are expected to play big parts as Chelsea aim for their fourth straight Premier League win.
