Chelsea saw off Major League Soccer outfit Los Angeles FC in their opening Club World Cup game, with a 2-0 victory.

Goals in each half from Pedro Neto and Enzo Fernandez were enough for the Premier League side against a hard working and spirited LAFC, who caused their opponents some difficulties in the second period.

A near perfect night for Chelsea saw new signing Liam Delap come off the bench, getting an assist and looking like a handful on his debut.
