The Mexicans are the most successful side in the history of the competition, with eight titles to their name. El Tri can add a ninth trophy with victory on Sunday, putting even more space between themselves and traditional rivals United States at the top of the all-time winners list.
Panama are the reason the Americans aren't playing in Sunday's match, as the Canaleros eliminated the hosts via a penalty shootout in the semi-finals.
