Where could Mudryk land if Chelsea decide against reunion?

Mykhailo Mudryk is back in training with Chelsea after having been reinstated from a doping ban that was imposed nearly two years ago.
However, he's not guaranteed to remain with the Blues this season.
Mudryk, now 25, has a lot to prove after such a long spell away from competitive football. The Ukrainian has been training on his own throughout his suspension, which was dropped last week after his case was resolved with the Football Association.Â

But now he has the unenviable task of getting back up to speed with teammates who have been actively playing matches and training in groups since Mudryk's November 2024 suspension, and while new Chelsea boss Xabi Alonso has been saying the right things in regards to giving the player a fair shot at earning his place on the squad, the Blues are not a team known for their patience.
Should Alonso decide that Mudryk is not ready to challenge for a place this season, Chelsea could send him on loan or transfer him to another club on a permanent basis. While nothing has been decided yet, there's already a front-runner for his services should Mudryk move away from Stamford Bridge.

Multiple reports indicate that Coventry City have registered their interest in Mudryk ahead of the Premier League's kick-off later this month.
The newly-promoted side are among three clubs in England's top flight that have reportedly contacted Chelsea about Mudryk's availability, with Coventry jumping to the top of the list due to manager Frank Lampard's connection with the winger.
Lampard was the caretaker boss at Stamford Bridge for the final portion of the 2022-23 season, following Mudryk's arrival at Chelsea months earlier.
As Coventry boss, Lampard is on the look-out for talent that can help his side stay up in the Premier League after topping the Championship table last season, and in Mudryk he could have an undervalued asset on his hands should Chelsea deem the player surplus to requirements.
