Which players have played for the most top six Premier League clubs?

With the transfer window in full swing ahead of a new Premier League season, there have been several moves that have caught the eye so far this summer.
Tottenham have been among the big spenders, completing deals north of the £100m mark, while Manchester City have also flexed their muscles by bringing in Elliot Anderson in a club record deal.
Then there's Chelsea, who made Morgan Rogers the most expensive British player of all time, but have also pulled off the shock move of bringing Danny Welbeck to Stamford Bridge.
Welbeck's new surroundings mean he's joined an elite list of players to have played for three or more of the Premier League's traditional 'top six' clubs.
DAZN News runs down who else is on that list to see which names have played for the most clubs among the stellar half-dozen.
Danny Welbeck - Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea
The latest name to join this list, and the only player to have represented Manchester United as part of his top six tour.
Welbeck came through the United ranks, but was never given a proper first-team run at Old Trafford despite winning the Premier League in 2013 and two League Cups.
He moved to Arsenal in 2014 and spent five years in North London before moves to Watford and then Brighton, where it looked as though his career would end.
However, following a career-high of 14 goals last season, Chelsea made the surprise move to add him to their ranks ahead of the new campaign.

Kolo Toure - Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool
Toure cost Arsenal just £150,000 when he moved to North London in 2002 and went on to play over 300 games for the club.
A key part of the Gunners' Invincibles side, the defender won the Premier League and two FA Cups before moving to Manchester City in 2009.
At the Etihad, he'd play alongside his brother Yaya, and add another title to his collection before finishing his career with a three-year stint at Liverpool.

William Gallas - Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham
A classy defender, Gallas arrived in England with Chelsea in 2001 and won two Premier League titles with the Blues in the early days of the Roman Abramovic era.
He swapped West London for North in 2006 and was part of the deal that saw Ashley Cole move the other way, bizarrely taking the number 10 shirt at Arsenal.
The Frenchman would captain the Gunners during his spell at the club, but is probably best remembered for his infamous on-field sulk after defeat to Birmingham.
Following the end of his contract, Gallas made the rare move across North London and joined rivals Spurs for a three-year stint.

Yossi Benayoun - Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal
A creative and clever midfielder, Benayoun moved to Liverpool in 2007 after impressing at West Ham.
After three years on Merseyside, where he became the first player to score a Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup hat-trick, the Israeli moved on to Chelsea.
At Stamford Bridge, he won the 2013 Europa League before spending a season on loan across the capital with Arsenal.

Emmanuel Adebayor - Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham
A January 2006 signing, Adebayor scored 62 goals for Arsenal in 162 games before forcing a move to big-spending Manchester City that didn't go down well with the Gunners fans.
The striker rubbed salt deeper into wounds on his first game against his old club, running the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of the Arsenal supporters after scoring for City in their victory.
Things, however, never really worked out for the Togolese in Manchester, and after a loan spell with Real Madrid, he eventually moved to Tottenham and made over 100 appearances on the other side of North London.

Daniel Sturridge - Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool
The striker came through the ranks at Manchester City and made his debut as a teenager, winning the club's Young Player of the Year in 2009.
However, after his contract ended, he moved to Chelsea, where he'd win both the Premier League and the Champions League with the Blues.
But his biggest impact came on Merseyside, where during a seven-season stint he formed a deadly partnership with Luis Suarez that almost won the Reds the title.
He did pick up another Champions League medal at Anfield, before his career fizzled out following a series of injuries.

Raheem Sterling - Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal
As a teenager, Sterling burst onto the scene with Liverpool and was one of England's most exciting young players.
His performances saw Manchester City swoop for the forward, and he spent eight trophy-laden years under Pep Guardiola, where he won four Premier League titles.
He moved to Chelsea in 2022 but failed to find the form that had seen him light up the Etihad, and after a forgettable loan spell with Arsenal, he's now without a club following a spell with Feyenoord.

Nicolas Anelka - Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea
Anelka's career spanned so many clubs; his spells at FOUR of the top six feel like different eras.
The striker made his name at Arsenal as a teenager, breaking through during the club's double-winning season of 1998 and scoring in the FA Cup Final.
Moves to Real Madrid and PSG followed, but he returned to England on a brief loan with Liverpool before eventually joining Manchester City in 2002.
After three years in Manchester, he spent time with Fenerbahce and Bolton before winning the Premier League Golden Boot and the Premier League with Chelsea.
