'He walked out!' - McGregor blasts Crawford over scuppered fight deal

Conor McGregor has claimed that Terence Crawford walked out on a two-fight crossover deal to face the mixed martial arts star.
'Bud' hung up his gloves following his win over Canelo Alvarez last September, claiming the undisputed super-middleweight title.
It marked the end of a glittering career in which the Nebraska native conquered all comers across an unbeaten professional tenure.
But speaking this week, UFC favourite McGregor revealed that the star previously passed on two crossover encounters with him.

"I know he can wrestle," the Irishman told the The Ariel Helwani Show on their near-miss clash. "He walked out of a two-fight deal.”
Per McGregor, the two would have initially met in a MMA bout, before taking a boxing rematch, with a proposed $200 million purse.
The encounter would have been presumably bankrolled by His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, who oversaw Crawford's fight with Canelo.
Since retirement, Crawford has become a regular fixture at several major events, but continues to downplay talk of a ring return.
