Johnny Fisher has become the latest star to pen promotional terms with Zuffa Boxing, ahead of an autumn show in London.
The heavyweight star will headline at London's Copper Box Arena on September 26 against a yet-to-be-confirmed opponent.
It marks the end of Fisher's tenure with Matchroom Boxing, with the 27-year-old previously hinting at a switch to free agency.
That has now yielded a deal with Zuffa, with 'The Romford Bull' bidding to rebuild after last summer's loss against Dave Allen.
"[This is] the most exciting chapter of my professional career," he added in a press release. "Everything has led to this point."
Having returned to boxing in his university days as a sparring partner for Joe Joyce, Fisher made a quick start to his pro life.
A slew of knockout victories across British arenas teed up swift wins over Dmytro Bezus in Las Vegas and Alen Babic in London.
Yet a late 2024 win over Allen in Riyadh came tinged with a touch of controversy after Fisher was felled by 'The White Rhino'.
The pair's subsequent rematch saw him suffer his first loss, before a low-key winning return against Ivan Baláž in Monaco.
Fisher's arrival further enhances a slate of major British names with Zuffa, including Conor Benn and Chris Billam-Smith.
