Terence Crawford delivers spectacular sixth-round knockout of David Avanesyan

Every time David Avanesyan found success pressuring, Terence Crawford responded accordingly.
Then, when the bell tolled to start the sixth round, "Bud" went to a level that showed why he's arguably boxing's pound-for-pound best.
The round had Crawford repeatedly landing a crunching left-handed uppercut, before a short left uppercut-right hook combination knocked Avanesyan out cold in spectacular fashion as a late bid for 2022 Knockout of the Year.
The fireworks sent Crawford's hometown fans at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska into a frenzy Saturday night, as the WBO world welterweight champion made his sixth straight defense and recorded his 10th straight knockout.
The crowd had even more to cheer about afterwards as Crawford maintained that he's still interested in making the Errol Spence Jr. fight happen to decide undisputed welterweight glory.
Unbeknownst to Crawford was the reported car accident that Spece sustained earlier on Saturday but was able to walk away from.
Avanesyan tested Crawford earlier, connecting on attention-grabbing shots. But with each round, Crawford's countering became more vociferous. "Bud" started working in slick but whiplashing combinations to the body and head, before eviscerating Avanesyan in the sixth.
