Harry Palmer and Kat Matthews claimed impressive victories at IRONMAN 70.3 Swansea as the UK's only IRONMAN Pro Series event once again delivered a thrilling day of racing.
Competing on the challenging Welsh course featuring a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride and 13.1-mile run, the pair emerged victorious against world-class fields to earn maximum Pro Series points and continue their strong 2026 campaigns.
Men's IRONMAN 70.3 Swansea 2026 results
Palmer produced one of the best performances of his career to take victory in 3:50:27, finishing 45 seconds ahead of fellow Briton Kieran Lindars after pulling clear during the closing stages of the run.
Belgium's Joran Driesen completed the podium after leading much of the race on the bike before being reeled in over the half marathon.

Women's IRONMAN 70.3 Swansea 2026 results
Matthews continued her excellent IRONMAN Pro Series season with another commanding display, crossing the line in 4:20:37 after producing the fastest bike split in the women's field.
Rebecca Anderbury made it a British one-two, while Germany's Daniela Kleiser surged through the field with the quickest run split to secure third place.

For Matthews, the success strengthens her position among the leading contenders in the 2026 IRONMAN Pro Series standings as she continues an outstanding campaign that has included multiple victories. Both winners earned the maximum 2,500 Pro Series points available for the event.
